Ron with his art
Ron Hall grew up in the Rancho Cordova area. Originally an art major out of high school, he changed his degree and became a fire fighter. He served the public as a supervisor and by creating art for fire safety and educational publications.
After 27 years, Ron retired as a Fire Captain with the City of Folsom Fire Department and returned to college in 2014, coming full circle back to art. He earned degrees in Art History and Arts & Humanities, served as President for Folsom Lake College’s Student Art Club, and taught art and art history to a local homeschool co-op group.
Ron was the Visual Arts Organizer for the Brushes and Brews Art Show in Rancho Cordova for three years in a row and has served as a judge and curator for Rancho Cordova Arts.
Ron exhibits his acrylic and mixed media art in juried shows all over Northern California, and has inspired many with his vibrant, free-flowing color that borders on pop, abstract, and surrealism.
